NARR: HER PARENTS SUSPECT THAT FOUR DAYS AGO, SIX-YEAR-OLD ABIGAIL SWALLOWED A QUARTER. (:05)

NATS: dad
“We had an ultrasound yesterday.  Late yesterday afternoon.  And the doctor doing the ultrasound said that the quarter is in her stomach and it’s not gonna pass down.”

NARR: HER PARENTS HAVE BEEN CHECKING HER STOOL AND SO FAR … THEY HAVEN’T FOUND IT.

TODAY THEY HOPE TO HAVE IT REMOVED.

BUT BEFORE THEY DO ANYTHING … THE DOCTOR WANTS TO KNOW EXACTLY WHERE THE COIN IS. (:10)

“It’s like a little wand, it doesn’t even touch you Abigail, okay, and we’ll see if we hear it, okay.” (detector beeps)

NARR: IT SOUNDS LIKE THE QUARTER IS STILL THERE … BUT JUST TO BE SURE, THEY TAKE X-RAYS. (:04)

NARR: BUT … THERE’S NO SIGN OF THE QUARTER.

NATS: King- “I want to make sure it’s not in her esophagus.  (girl underneath- another x-ray) Please.” 

NARR: ANOTHER X-RAY … AND AGAIN … IT SHOWS NOTHING. (:03)
