Welcome! You have entered the Newark Public Schools Dream Leaders website, where you will find the tools to help our Dream Leaders follow their passions and pursue their dreams...and witness their accomplishments!

Dream Leaders are catalysts for change throughout our schools and community, using their positive peer leadership to promote a healthy, supportive and respectful environment that values education. Last year Dream Leaders were challenged to reach 100 points for activities and positive leadership in their schools. They created presentations, posters and plays about drug prevention, bullying and the importance of staying in school. School teams exceeded expectations with a total of 1,770 points. Top point-getters included:

First Place: George Washington Carver with 285 points
Second Place: Alternative Education Pathways/SOSA with 280 points
Third Place: Louise A. Spencer with 235 points

Our Dream Leaders Challenge continues. This year we challenge schools to reach at least 200 points. Visit often to see news and photos of featured school teams and their activities!
