With December’s major celebrations at hand, there’s no shortage of Christmas music, commercials and sappy holiday sentiments day and night. I love the holiday music, the lights and all the traditional holiday specials. And with New Year’s Eve and the dawn of 2007 fast approaching, another media ritual occurs that pulls at my heartstrings… The Year in Review.

Remember when your kids were little and they’d tell you (and anyone within hearing distance) everything that happened in their day? There was no censoring, editing or leaving things out that they wanted to keep “private.” In fact, there was no private – not for them, not for you. Everything we did as parents was made public within hours.
