Stacey DeWitt, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Ms. DeWitt brings the culmination of a substantial legal and media career as well as a passion for child advocacy to her role as CEO. DeWitt has 17 years of experience as a television anchor, reporter and producer for ABC, NBC and PBS network affiliates. Before starting CWK in 1997, she was a practicing attorney serving as litigator, lobbyist for the Arkansas Bar Association, and deputy prosecutor. As a practicing attorney, Ms. DeWitt was actively involved in local politics serving as the campaign manager for the state's 2nd District congressional race and also continued to use media as an education tool by creating and producing a series of legal information shows broadcast on statewide public television. Ms. DeWitt also co-produced and moderated gubernatorial debates in a joint venture between statewide commercial and public television outlets. Throughout her broadcast and legal career, Ms. DeWitt served as a child advocate working to improve the state Juvenile Code and policies regarding children at risk as well as volunteering as a child advocate for abused children. Ms. DeWitt holds a B.A. in broadcast journalism from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Ms. DeWitt is married and has two children. Gary W. "Sam" DeWitt, Vice President of Business Affairs and Acting Chief Financial Officer and Director
Mr. DeWitt is an entrepreneur with a successful track record in launching start-ups into profitable ventures. In 1986, Mr. DeWitt co-founded "Brent and Sam's Cookies" with less than $10,000, and built the business into a profitable international gourmet food company with distribution throughout the United States, Japan and Europe. Mr. DeWitt sold his interest in the company in 1997 to finance the launch of CWK. Mr. DeWitt holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas. Mr. DeWitt is married to the CEO, Stacey DeWitt.

Collin Siedor, Editor in Chief Mr. Siedor has more than 20 years of experience in television production as a manager, news producer and documentary producer and writer. After serving as the assistant news director for WXIA television in Atlanta, Mr. Siedor launched the national documentary production unit for Gannet television. Mr. Siedor then formed his own independent production company, Dystar Television that he managed for over a decade. Simon and Schuster distributed his award-winning documentaries nationwide. Mr. Siedor has been honored with eight regional Emmy® awards, the prestigious Columbia DuPont award and the William Schram award for exceptional educational programming.

Danielle Dardashti, Vice President of Sales
Danielle Dardashti has been with Connect with Kids since 1998, initially serving as senior documentary producer. She has received numerous honors for her work, including an Emmy award for Civil Wars and a Parents’ Choice award for Shattered. She has written parenting articles for national magazines and is a published author of two books for parents and teachers. Previously, she was a television reporter at NBC, ABC, and Fox network affiliates in Atlanta, Raleigh, Ohio, and Charleston. Located in our New York office, she currently leads a team of sales consultants nationwide. Her team works with television stations, school districts, corporate sponsors, and government agencies across the country to create community education partnerships focused on the tough issues facing today’s youth and their parents. Ms. Dardashti is married and has two young children.
Teresa Stier, Director, Marketing
Teresa Stier joined Connect with Kids in 2003 and provides 15+ years expertise in direct marketing, marketing communications, product management and branding. Prior to Connect with Kids, Ms. Stier was marketing manager at ADVO, the nation's largest direct marketing company. At ADVO she developed direct marketing programs for Fortune 500 clients such as Wal-Mart, Eckerd, Lowe’s and Family Dollar. Ms. Stier also served as marketing manager for Active Parenting Publishers and as publishing manager/legal division for Darby Printing Company. A graduate of the University of West Georgia with a BA in Mass Communication, Ms. Stier is the winner of eight professional awards from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the Business Marketing Association.

Gwen Schiada, Psy.D., Director, Technical Assistance and Research
Dr. Gwen Schiada is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 15 years experience working with individuals in therapeutic settings and in systemic change roles at the local, state and federal levels. As a senior research analyst for the American Institutes for Research in Washington, D.C., she provided consultation and support to federal grantees implementing violence prevention initiatives. Dr. Schiada has held positions with the U.S. Department of Education – Safe and Drug Free Schools program and the Safe Schools/ Healthy Students Action Center. Additionally, Dr. Schiada was involved in conducting a large-scale mental health needs assessment for the District of Columbia following the attacks on September 11, 2001. She currently leads the professional development services for CWK Network, is involved in all aspects of our research efforts and plays a key role in
fostering relationships with government agencies, universities and other
organizations that focus on children's health and wellness issues.
